The only way I could upload multiple photos is by reducing the size of the photo on my camera. For some reason it was set to max, & no need for that for me anyway. Not that it is speedy now, but I uploaded 7 photos in less time than it took to load 1 before.

Thank you Redwing. Agreed. I agree with you all the way. I've seen that 'Black Prince' as photed on Stanley and Sons and really they have a photo that is quite mindblowing actually. I think it is super regardless of what time the photo was taken. 'Walter' on the other hand I found to be super exceptional at all times. It's needles haven't changed a bit, (even during these two last years of droughts a lot of us have gone through, which of course also has had some strange effects on probably all of each and everyone of us that has a significant amount of conifers.) This year's weather too has shown some late bud break on at least three conifers off the top of my head I can think of. Oddly enough, I have two Picea mariana 'Aureovariegata's' - the one in the pot, no late bud break (full sun), it's brother in the ground, several late shoots developing for a second year. Then the others... Anyway's I've seemed to ramble off here so sorry about that! I tend to have the ability to do this! All of course 'assuming' your 'Black Prince' shouldn't be doing what it's doing! Welcome to Texas--you're going to love it here! We're about 50 miles northeast of you, but gardening conditions are much the same for you and for us. Tomatoes do stop producing in the heat of summer. We plant Celebrity, which is semi-determinate (means the plants put on a lot of tomatoes at once which is convenient for canning and freezing) and which stops producing sometime in July. I cut the plants back by about half to a third, keep them watered, and in the fall new growth, new flowers, and new tomatoes appear. For production through the summer I plant Sungold, which is a cherry tomato (NOT a pot plant, it gets huge) and yellow and red pear tomatoes, also huge plants that bear continuously through the season. While you are planning your garden, get your soil tested now so you will know what to add and what not to add (our soils are generally alkaline). Enjoy year round gardening (lettuce, broccoli and spinach are producing in the vegetable garden right now) and post with any questions. Welcome!

I thought I had upgraded to IE7 at one point. Yahoo wants me to upgrade to IE8, but after reading about it here, I was reluctant to do so. I did go to windows updates last week to see if there were any I needed to do, but after scanning it said there were none. How do I get IE 7?
