Caution on the pokeberries. One of those plants that is much harder NOT to grow (at least here in PA) than to grow. Very invasive, very large, too gawky to be half attractive (the berries are a pretty blue, though,) they do stain, I think they are poisonous, and one of my friends told me that in her childhood they called them 'stinkweed.' (Never stopped to smell one.) That said, if you still want them go for it, they might be an improvement over poison ivy. Hmm...seems like damning with faint praise to me. I've been ripping them out for a few years but would be willing to send you seed if I find any I missed...all of it, come to think of it.

I live in SE Tennessee, Bradley County, We have had a lot of Towhees in and around the yard over the years but havent seen any lately. I attribute it to the last wooded lots around here being bulldozed for houses. Back in 1990 I saw my only Western Towhee in a Holly tree in my parent's front yard. Spots were very distinct and I was able to approach within about 8 feet. A couple of weeks Ago I was at my Dentist's office getting a cleaning when I saw one land on the wall of the enclosed garden just outside the window. This is about 150 feet from an area of about 6 or seven acres that is heavily wooded and right in the middle of a very settled area including a hospital and large medical building. The owner of this area is my daughter's Great Grandmother-in-law. She is in her late 80s and says she is saving the land as an investment for her old age.

Thanks Marlene and Candy for the comments. I stopped at Walmart and picked up some blue and silver trees @ 75%off tonight that I will add to my winter decor. Also a few red and wht things I can use for Valentines Day decor. Bought some ornaments and brown and silver clip on poinsettias. Thinking ahead for next year with them. Was hoping to find something for the outside Valentine tree but that didn't happen. I'm sure things will be out by this weekend.
