Dont feel bad about ripping them out as you should be happy with your garden. It sounds to me though that they are either lacking something or have too much of something. Are you feeding them? If so, what and how often? Something else that you can try is cutting them all the way down as they might just be old and need to be rejuvenated. But that experiment might take another year to produce the effects you want and you might just be at the point where you are more than ready to get rid of them. I have four endless summers - 3 original and 1 blushing bride. My originals were bought at a nusery and were in good health. These girls bloom huge blooms all over the bush and they rebloom as well. I do not winter protect them any longer other than to shovel piles of snow on them. I only water when they need it (they start to slightly wilt or its a Saturday) and i only feed it once in the spring with some bone meal. They are in well amended alkaline soil so they are pink. Other than that i just enjoy looking at them. My BB was bought at a Walmart or Lowes and it was struggling when I bought it. It still struggles. It is really bushy with strudy stem but the leaves are yellowish and it flowers very little and produces small blooms. I do feed it Iron liquid but it just greens up a bit and then yellows again. Last Spring I moved her to another spot in the bed and discovered that she had one main root and it was a poor straggly one. After two years of "perform or you are out" I will be ripping her out this spring. I also have Limelight and Little Lime and they also flower really well. However, i would recommend understanding the reason your ES isnt performing well before replacing it as the lime light might not do well in that spot either if the problem is the soil, too much water, etc. also the LL needs more sun than the ES and might not do well in the same spot.

Ellie if you only have anti virus you are at risk. I would suggest you get Malwarebytes and SUPERantispyware, both of which are free. These require you to manually update and run scans but they only need doing every one to 3 weeks depending on how conscientious/nervous you are. I never leave my external hard drive connected to the computer. This is both for safety and economy. Connected it is open to attack and also runs all the time. If you have a factory built computer your power supply might be taxed to a degree unless your external drive is self powered. Most today are not self powered I believe. Any work saved in between would be lost. You can store your data on the computer itself and back it up to the external drive for protection. Always a good plan to have data you do not wish to lose saved in 2 locations Outlook is generally a part of Microsoft Office although I understand it can be bought as a stand alone program - quite expensive too. One would presume Cobian Backup came with your Go_Flex drive. It is good that you ask these questions but be sure to allow yourself to enjoy the benefit these things can bring you. A computer is only as good as the person sat in front of the keyboard. Urlee and Cat_ky I have no issues with anyone owning more than one computer, I have 6 and all working yet I live alone. But to purchase another computer "just in case" seems rather more than odd to me and a complete waste of money for an item that keeps becoming out of date with alarming regularity. Don expressed it very wisely I think.

Well, here's my thoughts on your situation, from the viewpoint of a BB'er who broke her leg and wasn't able to get up/down stairs to the master suite for 4 MONTHS (at least the sofa was comfortable to sleep on, LOL): If you can't get a level-in MB suite on the main level, and it sounds like you can't, don't do it. We had a mere four steps to our front door, and had to build a ramp for me to manage getting in and out (first I used a wheelchair, then a walker, then a removable "boot" cast). Plus, you've moved an awful lot in your past, and already have a 4bd 2ba house. Remodeling in a poor or even average market means your chances of recouping remodeling costs when you do sell, are not great. I would recommend you do what works best for you, keeping the design and finish consistent with the rest of the house, and adhere to a strict budget. This sounds like putting the master suite upstairs would work best in your situation.

This last time I came up w/ the idea to section the wall off using black chalk (my mom supplies the kids w/ copious amounts of chalk in lots of different colors). It made the work sooooo much faster and easier! Deedee - no worries w/ the green chest! The only reason that it is only half finished is because I haven't bought the clear glaze yet to age it. I love how bright it is but I was surprised (and a bit disappointed) when the white showed through. I knew that as as soon as I put a brown glaze on it would not be right so I am mixing a custom glaze in deep green to age it w/. Mtnrdredux - I confess to having an entire Irish Gang and the wearing O' the Kilt is a proudly held tradition by the men. Peony4 - That's funny about hiding the chalk from the kids & your dinner party! I had a terrible time trying to get my kids to stop writing on the walls. Finally I resorted to making them begin scrubbing the walls themselves when I caught them. One day I found DS2 writing on a freshly painted white wall w/ orange marker. I promptly got out the bucket and scrub brush and gave to him. Before I even had a chance to get back to my desk he declared "I'm done!". I grabbed the marker and saw that it was a washable marker. In a fury I grabbed a black industrial sharpie and scribbled on the wall and yelled "Now scrub this!". As soon as I came to my senses we all had a great laugh and it's now a favorite family story to recount "Remember the time mom flipped and wrote all over the walls?!". After that I decided to out think them and did the blackboard wall for them and said 'Have at it!'. I can only imagine what will end up on it during the teenaged yrs. One of the things that I like to do is have the kids draw on it for the Thanksgiving dinner that we host. I love to see what they come up w/. The first year was Pilgrims, Indians, turkeys, spaceships and lasers. Lots of things on fire. It's always quite the conversation starter every year. kswl - I'm telling you - I must have looked like quite a sight running down the street to my van w/ that chandelier in my hands dropping crystals as I went shouting "I'll be right back! I promise!" over my shoulder. I left my kids standing in their yard to let them know I was serious about coming back. I erased my Christmas art yesterday morning to do this.
