Linda, if you are using photobucket, try clicking on your pics, go to the bottom of the page, select "generate img and html code". It will take you to the next page. I just click on the first option, then right click and select "copy". Now come back here and type your message. Then right click and select "paste". Your post with the pictures will show up when you hit "preview message". You can post multiple pics from the same page this way. Give it a try and ask questions if you need more answers. Interesting! I didn't know that. I've never gotten close enough to see the red eye ring. Its very striking! I've seen yellow-billed cuckoos up close, but they don't have the red ring. Thanks gardenlady.

It could be but I'm not positive. I'll have to show this to my Mom. I kept describing him as having "orange armpits", so this pic would match in that respect. But the bird in your pic looks more sleek and less chubby than the bird in my yard. He had that well-rounded chickadee belly. Do you know of any other small black, orange and white birds that might be in my area? I see that you're in KY!
