White headed bird... Sparrow?

In a previous post, I inquired about a small bird that I thought was a sparrow, but it has an entirely white head. I've been able to get a photo of it on a feeding tray with other birds. I believe that the other sparrow-like bird may be the same kind of bird without the white head. Can anyone identify them?

It's just a House Sparrow, partially leucistic (sp?), I had one once that had almost all white wings, never was able to get a picture or shoot it!

Nice bird to be the first one of the New Year! I've had Fox Sparrows visit the yard occasionally. Once a pair of Fox Sparrows hung around here for a couple weeks in the winter, which was the longest they ever stayed. But they seem to move on quickly in this area (eastern Mass.). I thought it was cute how they frantically scratch on the ground looking for stuff to eat. Even scratchier than the White throat sparrows.

Here's the other bird. The stripe above the eye is definitely a different color; more tan than white. These pics are awful! I'm sorry. My hands are not steady and the pics are taken through double-paned windows. It's cold here in Iowa!

Hi conk, Funny you should mention this. Last week I was looking out my window (central Indiana) and thought I saw a new bird. Most of its head was white, except for some small black lines. It had too much white for a white crowned sparrow. I got out my binocs and it was a white crowned sparrow, but I've never seen one with so much white on its head. Funny that yours had a all-white head. Interesting!
