wren problems again... suggestions?

Ok, my birds abandoned their nest when 2 of 3 eggs went missing.. suspected a wren.

They set up shop in my HOSP trap house, not in a good spot with tree branches overhanging, no guard etc..

As we were figuring out how to make the nest safer we saw a wren at the house. Earlier in the season I saw a wren chase away a HOSP from this house.. obviously close to this wren's nesting area. Never saw a stick in any houses!

Should I TRY to let this nesting happen and add guard? Or should I take the nest box down and put up another one out of sight of this one, as far away as possible? Once a wren finds the nest a guard won't help will it??

It has a finished nest in it right now, but why let it go on when failure is written all over it?
