It was flickering when we moved in with regular bulbs, continued after changing to 65w equivalent led. We don’t want dimmable and planning to replace the dimmable switches with non dimmable switches. I’m pretty sure the problem is either with the switch or the contacts but wanted to see if there might be something else that would cause this set of lights to blink when nearby lights changed state sometimes. Likely coincidence but just trying to do due diligence. The dimmer part of the switch is incredibly sensitive and if you touch it, the lights usually end up in a strobe effect for a few seconds until you push the slider down and back up. This strobe effect is repeatable on one of the two switches easier than the other.

As suggested above, do check any replaceable bulbs to make sure they're dimmable. Try replacing one of your dimmers with the Lutron Diva LED+ Dimmer Switch. I've found the Lutron LED+ dimmers to be compatible with most every type of LED light and bulb.

@Laurel C: That’s what the electric company said they’ve seen before. One of our two neighbors has a hot tub. We’re waiting to hear back from him if he has anything on a timer or if he’s aware of anything running every 15 minutes. @BirchPoint: That’s interesting! I’ll also add that we don’t have any dimmer switches. That was another one of the electrician’s first questions. I really hope we don’t have to replace the LED can lights. That makes me wonder though if maybe the other neighbor who has flickering has faulty can lights. Their can lights flicker, but ours don’t. Weird.

Brad: That is earlier then I expected and I hope you get all the blooms left before you get a freeze. The cooler weather certainly enhances the darker colors. Looking at your Belle Isle Sentry again, it really is a pretty purple for this late in the season.......Kay: I've heard multiple theories over the years about why there are blooms and reblooms and why there are not. The latest I heard was that blooms for next year are determined in the fall of the previous year. If there is plenty of moisture then it will result in more blooms next year. Like many people, we are in a droughty situation, but since most of mine are in a pot, they seldom go dry (she says wearily), so I don't know about that theory as it applies to my situation. It will be interesting to see what goes on next year for you in contrast to this one........Maryl
