Low voltage garden lighting that mimics flickering candle light
Comments (3)You can buy the battery operated candles at Bed,Bath & Beyond, A.C. Moore's, Michael's, Plow & Hearth and they are wonderful. That is all we use anymore in our house. We live in a Sr. Citizens community and about 3 yrs. ago there was a bad fire in a garden apt. one windy Jan. night started by a plastic coffee maker being put on a burner that was on by mistake. A man lost his death because he went back into his first floor apt. to get some important papers and the ceiling from the apt. on fire fell on him and killed him. They had to tear the entire building down and rebuild it. Every since then, we only use the battery operated ones. They have some that are scented and the outside feels like real wax. They have a lot of hours of use, something like 100 or 500 before you have to replace the batteries. They are LED lights. Candles that come in lots of colors plus white and off white....See MoreLights Flickering...
Comments (4)All 4 LED Recessed lights on dimmer switch just started flickering. (4.5w dimmable GU10 LED bulbs) The dimmer switch is is also dimmable Lutron Diva C.L Dimmer Switch for Dimmable LED, Halogen and Incandescent Bulbs, with Wallplate, Single-Pole or 3-Way, DVWCL-153PH-LA - It only happens sometimes - 4 other LED's on a DIFFERENT dimmer switch (but same circuit) also flicker sometimes, whether the other dimmer switch is on or not. - It doesn't matter how bright I have the dimmer - They were fine for 2 years What could be causing this? Is it dangerous if the lights are on? If they are off? Thanks in advance for any help!...See MoreWould bad ballast cause other lights to flicker?
Comments (5)Hi, OP here with an update... With regard to ronnatalie's question... yes, it did seem that one of the other light fixtures on the same breaker had some trouble even when the fluorescent light in the kitchen was off. Not quite a flicker, but the bulb (an incandescent, NOT a CFL) was slow to turn on (had previously tried changing the bulb and that didn't help). But now, here's the update... my nephew came over and replaced the ballast on the kitchen fixture and that definitely seems to have helped. I don't know for sure yet if it has fixed all of the "flickering" since I haven't been over to the house myself to test out some of what I had observed (I live about 2 1/2 hours away), but I am hoping that all will be good when I get there next time. If not, I'll post another update. Thanks for your thoughts!...See MoreLights flickering after circuit breaker install
Comments (4)"Put the pump on the other phase in the panel. Maybe most of your lights are on the same phase at the pump is now. Worth a shot." Leg, NOT PHASE. Residential power is most commonly 120 V/ 240 V SINGLE phase....See MoreLaurel C
