We have baby Blues!!!!!!!!

I thought for sure yesterday we were going to have hatchlings as I was watching the behaviour of the adults but when I looked yesterday afternoon there were still four eggs. Not sure if this happened after I looked or this morning. I knew for sure though today when I saw mom go in the nestbox with a really little worm that she beat up beforehand. So I quick went down for a picture. That bright patch is the sun reflectin off the spooker, totally washes that one baby out in the photo. I have no clue if the male is feeding them too but I have seen him at least looking into the nestbox both yesterday and today and he has been there every day and defending the nestbox too now, even scolds me when I go down. It seems as if this is the original male, not sure if he just took a four day vacation after mom laid the eggs or what but I know he wasn't around during that time and he has been daily since his return. Mom showed him the ropes of the mealworm feeder so he has been eating too. They haven't eaten much today though from the feeder, too busy with the little ones I think. I have been slowly moving it up to the house so I can put it on the deck. I was thinking they didn't like where I put it today and that was why the female didn't come up and eat but I know now why. It is about 125 ft away from their nestbox now and I have about 30 feet to go yet to get it on the deck. Still in sight of the nestbox though. Here are the four little ones, I am hoping and praying that we don't have a blowfly problem this year, this is a top opening box, ugh!! I hav had two nestings fledge so far down at the park, one was full of blowfly larva, the other had none that I saw. Strange!

Oh I just remembered the male did go into the nestbox today so maybe he is feeding them too. I couldn't tell if he had anything in his mouth or not.
