We're getting a new baby!
Comments (22)The dividing lines most often go: toy 6-9 lbs; tiny toy 4-6 lbs; teacup under 4 lbs. If she's registered, you can get a geneology, which will give you a bit of a guide to her heritage in size. No promises, though. Nature persists in selecting some genes at random. I got Lalee when she was 3 weeks old, because the owner/breeder was going to euthanize her. Even at that tender age, being twice the size of her littermates, it was obvious her size was a 12-generation throw-back. Those previous generations were all teacups, weighing an average of 3 pounds, except for a 5lb g-g-g-etc-greatgrandsire. She was the most intelligent, and best-natured dog I've ever had....See MoreWe have a new years baby here
Comments (7)Thank you! I went to your photobucket website, and you have some beautiful flowers including the brugs and hibiscus. I posted a note on one of the white hibiscus as follows: "This is beautiful. What variety is it? Have you seen the white Hawaiian Hibiscus arnottianus which is allegedly the only hibiscus to be slightly fragrant? They are also beautiful." My daughter lives on Oahu, and she and I went to one of the botanical gardens, and I saw one and fell in love immediately. Next time I head out that way, I'm bringing one back. Hibiscus arnottianus...See MoreWe have baby Dees!!!!
Comments (4)Congratulations Donna! It is very hard to believe they can even hold their heads up isn't it? So naked compared to Blues too. It is not uncommon to have an egg or two not hatch with Dees. Mine are about ready to fledge if the Blues will leave them alone. They have been harassing them relentlessly for two days. They can't get in the box but will not leave them alone. I wish they'd just take care of their own babies. They fledged a week ago. Oh well Continued success Cathy...See MoreSeperate Kids Pool
Comments (5)Congrats! We were finished with kids after our 2 girls, but likewise the Lord blessed us with an unexpected son too :-) And he has been a blessing indeed, had I known what it would be like then we wouldn't have been so quick to stop at 2! My suggestion would be to get a little splash pool to set up next to the big pool and when he's old enough start him on swim lessons. Before you know it you won't need the splash pool anymore. Logan is 5 and can't touch unless he is standing right at the shallow edge of the pool, but he has been taking lessons for 3 years and is incredibly comfortable in the water. He doesn't need to touch bottom, he just swims all over the place....See Moretwo25acres
