What great timing! I just finished the caulking and now it just needs one last coat of paint on the casing (door trim). We had the countertop cut so it extended all the way to the wall and notched the casing around it. It looks totally fine IMO and I don’t even notice it :)

As much as it is great looking hosta I no longer want to deal with prima donnas. There was time when I wanted to prove something to myself and tried growing plants that were not suitable to my zone, climate or landscape, grow them from seeds collected from all over the world. There are just so many wonderful hostas out there, really exciting times! Good luck to you, this specimen looks very healthy.

LOL. Yes, this is one I have admired for a long time but somehow never ordered, though I came close a few times.
