Wow I love all of them, I like the color contrast in the first photo. Moses fire is a wonderful plant isn't it. It makes huge fans and scapes, I love mine. Im not real big on orange, but something about the way a double looks with ruffled petal edges is attractive to me. Fantasy montage is beautiful. -Jessica

If you install the latest version, it should recognize that there's a version installed and upgrade it. As far as Zonealarm requiring you to let Firefox access the internet, that's actually a good thing. I think the version that costs money is preconfigured with certain applications and their signatures so it's easier to use. Forewarned is forearmed: any time a program that access the internet is upgraded, you'll need to give it permission the first time it runs. This is also a good thing. Years ago (probably around 2000) some security expert discovered that all the firewalls except zonealarm could be bypassed by naming a malicious program iexplore.exe. Zonealarm recognized that it wasn't the valid iexplore and blocked it. Now they all have this feature. The key is that you can't just always allow an executable whose name you recognize access the internet. If you didn't install any upgrades, patches, etc, you shouldn't get a message that the program has changed. Note that IE is often upgraded with Windows updates. One other note is that sometimes Zonealarm gets a little aggressive in blocking access. If you share devices on your network, you may need to designate it as a trusted zone. I do a lot of work with various VPNs and sometimes I need to set them up as trusted zones so Zonealarm will treat them as LANs. One other note on Ravencajun's advice that if you don't know for sure, don't allow the access, you may want to leave the "remember this setting" unchecked when you disallow access the first few times, just in case it's something that does need access and you just don't recognize it. There's a way to change these settings after the fact, but IMO it's easier to do them using the popup boxes.

Do you think it's possible for us to move toward a friendlier, more helpful state where people are more considerate, patient, helpful. Less stressed overall. I would like to see less crime, less anger, more kids with two parents and grandparents involved. More interest in finding solutions to the things that cause disease, despair and isolation. If we all said we wanted that, couldn't we make it happen in a few generations? To be human is a great gift. Some people want to act like animals instead. I wish we could all move forward together and be happy. I dream of a world where everyone has enough to eat and something useful to do. There is no fear. You can walk about freely. Someone needs help and people aren't afraid to offer it. That world could be a reality but I don't see people in the media or the internet saying they want it.

I think H1N1 is going around this year which makes it more deadly. I had always been lax about getting the flu shot (even though it's offered at my work!) until my grandparents became extremely elderly and frail. Now even my baby has had his shot and we're enrolled in a flu vaccine study. The flu vaccine is a tough sell because it's only about 40-60% effective in reducing flu OVERALL. That means a lot of people who get the vaccine will become sick. They become, on average, less sick than if they hadn't gotten the vaccine. But considering we still have a lot of doubters even for very effective vaccines for very deadly diseases like measles, I can see why it's hard to get people on board. On the other hand, it's an amazing public health WIN to think you could cut the number of people dying from the flu in half. And reduce the number of kid-related intensive care visits from the flu by 75%. etc. etc. I just wish we humans were better at dealing with grey areas and probabilities - it's like we can't buy in unless we're promised it will be 100% effective. Even though 40-60% is better than none.
