Seems to be working now. YEA! Getting ready for nesting season!!!!!!! No Blues here yet....not quite done with winter but getting anxious!

Getting anxious here too Lisa, but I know it will be awhile yet. I'm trying to keep an eye on the Dees to see if they are doing and house hunting yet but haven't noticed any.

Anxious as well! I've both heard bluebirds, and SEEN them. Infact, I already seem to have a pair! Both checked out one of my boxes.

But nesting is still a ways off itself. We'll all most likely be dealing with the likes of HOSP first.

Still supposed to snow here, so yeah winter is on the verge but still not done. Mainly 40's this week..rain and snow. Nasty! High of the week is 54.

Pics have to be posted here from online storage like one of the free photo storage sites - photobucket is one but there are several. Each of those sites has different guides for posting pics from i-pads and pcs. Once stored online then you just copy and paste the html URL they give you for the pic here in your post. Dave

Deedles, I really like the placement of your prep sink. I think it gives you two great areas to prep next to it. I bet you'll end up prepping on the peninsula most of the time and the placement of the sink gives you a nice big area. I like it. I've gotta agree with the visual of the arch over the fridge not really working. I'd square it off so it fits with the rest of the cabinets. Your kitchen is going to be set up a lot like mine. I have a major traffic pattern through mine too. The fridge is in the traffic pattern, while my work area is on the other side of the kitchen. My prep sink makes a nice triangle between the fridge and the microwave and I love it. I find traffic tends to stay completely out of my way while I'm cooking and they stay in that zone between the prep sink, fridge and microwave. With what you've described, and from what I see of your space, I think you'll spend most of your time in the u of your kitchen while traffic stays outside. I really like that part of your plan. This is going to be a great kitchen to work in.

Thank you, Emily. I was getting desperate. With help from my DIL, we stumbled onto something. I think the trouble was with the GardenWeb account. It had something to do with my old email which I no longer have and did not have the information. I get email okay from you but could not post. So glad I have the name of a person because my pleas were ignored.

I see some familiar names!!

A pair of bluebirds started a nest here on Feb. 7th and as of this morning I have 2 blue eggs!!

This is so early, much earlier than past years.

I agree, may we all have a great season!

Hey Linda! Congrats on the eggs! Hope the weather holds and it is a successful nesting. We still have snow on the ground here in WI, don't expect to be seeing the Blues real soon yet here.
