Bird ID help, please

Hello, everyone! I need some help. This bird has come to my suet feeder a few times this week. I have never seen this type of bird at my feeders before! I love how I have had these feeders up for nearly 5 years and still see new ones from time to time. :)

My guess is some kind of thrush.

I was thinking wood thrush when I first saw it. My bird book says wood thrushes are summer birds in my area (southeast Georgia), so then I thought maybe a hermit thrush? Its tail is a redish brown color. I am not very good at this lol, but at least its fun!

It is an American Tree Sparrow. The two white wing bars, yellowish beak, gray face, and location point to tree sparrow. A Chipping Sparrow in winter in eastern Canada would be an exceptional sighting. See link below for another pic of this great winter sparrow for comparison. The Towhees around here-East Tennessee-certainly sing the "Drink" part of their song, also the "Tea" part-sometimes written as towhee. This am I heard "Drink, drink, drink....long pause...your tea" Then just "drink drink..." I think it's a little later in the year when I hear the "tea" or "towhee" part alone. Right now I have an Eastern Wood Peewee that repeats "pee-oh-wee" over & over & it's kinda mournful sounding. He sings from a cedar tree in a small cemetary across the road & it seems fitting somehow. Susan

How cool to have one stop by for suet and with just the camera in time to get the shot! Rare moment as I think these birds usually forage in thickets & come out to eat berries on trees.
