not sure if you read the other boards here.... SO, I'll copy and paiste my question here.... If, your still in.... Ok, here is a follow-up. I purchased the Gator blade mentioned above in an earlier post, for my SR4 20056. Clearance is fine for the kickers. I had to modify the holes just a tiny bit because they were set just a tad too narrow. NOW, on to the review! I'm not very happy so far! My regular toro recycler blade MULCHED better. It seems the GATOR is either a bit to efficient or the Kickers are causing a counter affect! Let me explain a bit more and maybe somebody can help me... It seems the GATOR kicks the blades of grass up too fast and ends up just blowing it out underneath. It is leaving way to large of a blade and a HUGE trail as I mow. One thing I noticed is that this happend the most in the thicker areas of my lawn. I have my heighth set at E (3-1/4). IS this too high or too low? Does the GARTOR just not work well with a SUPER-recycler (with the side kickers)? So, am I going back to the regular TORO (OEM) blade? Anyone have a take on this? Thanks!

I went over to the Yard Doctor. Why are'nt they taking any more posts. They had a sign saying the posting was locked but you could read whatever was already posted. thanks vickie

Dear Rumble Seat, Thank you very much for your inquiry. Sorry for the tardiness, actually I was just looking at this post. This is my go around at this type of communication and I only have recently figured out these dates, but I do think I can answer your questions. My advice to you is to begin to mow the grass at about a 3 inch height and get on a regular mowing schedule now. The grass that is only 1-2 weeks old will tolerate the traffic from the mower, maybe not a volleyball game at this point. This mowing is the key to promoting density in your yard. Again, thanks for the question and let me know if you have more. Respectfully Trey Rogers The Yard Doctor

Hi, I just popped in here to find out how to get rid of wild strawberries in my grass and saw your post.I have a lot of those same holes in my yard this year. I have seen chipmunks(you may call them ground squirrels) disappear into them. I have always had these critters around, but this is the first year for so many holes in the yard. Maybe these new holes correlate to the 4 new cats that have started to hunt my yard this year. I don't know how you would get rid of them other than trapping or poison. If it is moles you would see the raised tunnels throughout your yard.
