In your July 6th post regarding Bermuda in Fescue, you stated not to fertilize during warm weather months. Will this completely rid the Fescue of the Bermuda in time? Will the Fescue kill the Bermuda? Hard to believe, if true. Thanks!

Thanks for the inquiry. The idea is to favor the tall fescue by always fertilizing your lawn when it is actively growing and not the bermudagrass. Get totally rid of the bermudagrass? I don' think that is very likely, short of roundup 3-4 times that will take out everything. This will just keep it down and and little intrusive as possible.

We are aware that there are questions that aren't related to lawn care and those questions will eventually be deleted. However, this does not mean that the Yard Doctor will not answer all of the questions that do relate to lawn care because there are other types of questions listed. The header very clearly states where his expertise lies. And, he can only answer so many questions each day -- but, will plan on answering all lawn questions over the next few days.
