Second Request to Yard Doctor

I think you may have missed my post, so I'll repost it:

Hello Dr. Rogers,

We seeded a new lawn with Scott's Pure Premium High Traffic Blend (Perennial Rye's and Kentucky Bluegrass)about 3 1/2 weeks ago. The grass that has come in is getting quite tall, about 4 inches in some spots. There are still quite a few bare patches around. My question is when should we first mow the lawn? Will we damage the young plants that are just now germinating? Or should we wait a couple more weeks to mow even though it's getting tall?

We appreciate any advice you can give.

Thanks
