zoysia in the shade

We have about 1000 square feet of bare earth that we wanted to put a warm season grass down on. We had decided on emerald zoysia. About 750 square feet of that gets sun pretty much all day, all year. The other 300 square feet (runs along the side of the house, faces northeast) gets sun for most of the day in the summer, but only 2-3 hours of sun in the winter. I know that zoysia needs at least 4-5 hours of sun, but since it is dormant in the winter anyway, does it need the sun in the winter? I am just trying to figure out if it would do okay in that area or if I need to go with fine fescue or something.
