Tomatoes not ready yet...normal??

Being new to TX I am not sure when tomatoes are suppose to be done! I have 6 tomato plants...the general variety....Big Boy, Sweet 100's, Early girl...etc..... and I have had two ripe small ones and there is a ton of green! The plants are about 3 feet tall and appear to be doing well but I am reading about fall planting and was sitting here thinking that my spring crop is still not in!

They are in an above ground box I built that is 8 feet long 1 foot wide and about 18" deep. I used the same boxes in MN and had great success! My plants get about 6 hours of afternoon sun, the trees filled in and overcast the morning sun turning it to shade over my box....ARG!

Should my tomatoes be done already??? I am a still waiting for my baskets to fill with ripe tomatoes!wink!!!!

any THOUGHTS???
