Need to do: paint potting shed, help DH build a deck by our new used pool. Want to do: >use found broken concrete to lay a small patio area in front of potting shed (after it's painted) and plant wooly thyme in between. >Find my box of stained glass pieces (from a stained glass class DH and I took when I turned 30 - now buried somewhere after 2 moves) to try a mosaic - I LOVE the What a Wonderful World idea (can I borrow it?). >Find a decorative piece of metal wall art that my Dad cut in half for me the summer before last and attach stained glass pieces that I cut in another class (a one afternoon session) - I had the glass but could not think of a way to display it, then I bought the metal piece which my Dad cut for me, but then I could not find the glass. Now I want to find both and attach. >Permanently attach pvc pipes that DH and I temporarily have attached together to form a windspinner (from a link that someone recommended here) and hang it up. >Stop my pattern of working on projects in such slow motion that I lose the pieces before I ever complete them. >Stop coming to this wonderful website because it gives me too many wonderful ideas. In response to the request, here is a close-up of the bench. It's sheet metal on top, weathered and rusty. I put a sealant on it because our 6-year old is always sitting on it, and we don't want her to have a rusty bottom! LOL The sides are painted wood. Like I mentioned, the guy I bought it from on Ebay said it came from his Grandpa's cabin in the Tennessee mountains. ENJOY! Kirk

super job on the raised vegetable beds...i am getting ready to do another one but this one is big and have to haul about 8 tons of processed top soil first and then i'm going to do mine like yours just a little different design with the boxes...my goes across my yard so i am going to put a fence across there with a arch and a growing vine and inside a sitting bench with a trellis over and then put some flowers in it. i am going to have three long square one's and a octagon one in the middle. and then mulch the area like you did...here is where i got my idea, just scroll down about four posters and there are tons of pictures the two i loved is the one with the trellis and the one with the poles with flowers in it...both look like a flower bed. http://forums2.gardenweb.com/forums/load/cornucop/msg0419470025521.html

If I have to give up my home and move...I'm going to need some good junking ideas to make me feel at home wherever my feet land.
