Suggest any Part Sun Annuals...???

Hi All I'm really confused and it's time to get this done already!

I have a bed that I ususally use Sun coleus in, but I'd like to try something different. It gets some morning and some afternoon sun, but no direct sun in the heat of the afternoon.

One edge is shady so I'll plant caladiums, the other edge is sunny so I can plant pentas or even zinnias and they are fairly happy. I'm looking for annuals that get about 2 ft tall for the middle.

I have some green leaf, red flower angel wing begonias from last year. If I can find some really cheap I'll put in a bunch of them, then maybe a stripe of the coleus, but that just doesn't get me excited.

Anyone have suggestions? Drought tolerant would be wonderful because the soaker hose doesn't really soak the middle of that bed as well as it should.

thank you

cynthia
