HELP - How do I load multiple pics??

I'm absolutely lost!! I tried to upload a picture and it failed because it was over 61kb. So how are you guys uploading multiple pictures on one posting. Thank you.

I am certainly no expert, but I think it has to do with the pictures most of us show here being LINKS to photo storage sites like Photobucket. They are not stored on this site which apparently has a limit to what it will take.

Someone else can fill you in on all the details. I remember that same message coming up when I first tried to post pictures years ago.

Photobucket is free up to a certain fairly large number of pictures. I pay $20 a year now because I have over three hundred pictures stored there.

First upload pics to a photo-hosting site like Flickr, Picasa, Photobucket, etc. while viewing the pic there, you will find a path to the HTML CODE for that picture. The path usually starts with the link, "Share." Once you locate the code, copy and then paste into your message. Can paste code for multiple pictures. Watch that you do not accidentally get the code for thumbnails or small pictures. Once you paste the code, you will see picture(s) in the message preview (to know if you got it right.)

aloha: there's a good explanation and screen shots to illustrate it in the "read me if you're new" thread, linked below. You need to first upload your photos into a sharing site like Webshots or Photobucket. (These are free.) Make sure if you use another site that the pictures don't require a password or logon. Both Webshots and Photobucket will provide the code to include the picture, as shown below. You just copy/paste it into your post. Before submitting your post, use the Preview button to make sure the pictures show. Here is a link that might be useful: Read Me Thread
