aloha: there's a good explanation and screen shots to illustrate it in the "read me if you're new" thread, linked below.

You need to first upload your photos into a sharing site like Webshots or Photobucket. (These are free.) Make sure if you use another site that the pictures don't require a password or logon. Both Webshots and Photobucket will provide the code to include the picture, as shown below. You just copy/paste it into your post.

Before submitting your post, use the Preview button to make sure the pictures show.

Chicagoans...thanks for responding. I have been able to post my pics through this method in the past, it's just that I've seen many posts that the picture is posted directly with the text w/o having to go to photobucket or whereever the pics are stored. I know I prefer seeing them w/o having to use the links, so I assume others might too.

when you post the code as Chicagoans pointed out in that illustration (not just the link) the picture will show up in the text of your message.
