I was reading this, thinking, "But lizards are not viviparous, are they?" Sure, some snakes are, but lizards? (Yep, just googled it - some are.) viviparous - Zoology. bringing forth living young rather than eggs, as most mammals and some reptiles and fishes. But I was still ROFLMAO!

Well I'm not happy. I got an invoice last night that had a message saying if I combined auctions to wait for combined shipping. So I assumed it hadn't been combined yet but paid it anyway and left a message saying that I really wanted the right ones so I was paying that invoice (which I didn't think combined shipping) and please send the right ones right away. She wrote back saying she had combined shipping (so why put a message on the invoice that says to wait for combined shipping?) and that the design had changed to a football with no white stripes and that they auction hadn't been updated. Do I want them anyway? The original auction said "FOOTBALL pattern as seen in the photo. These RINGS are brand new and a JUST RELEASED design." And they changed the design already? I smell a rat. What a hassle for some plastic crap.

Update. I visited both the Apple Store (to hold iPhones) and the AT&T store to discuss upfront costs and plans. The jury's still out on whether to get a 6s or 6s Plus. I was annoyed at first when I had to sign up and wait to be seen by someone in the AT&T store. I almost left in a polite huff and decided that would be foolish, so I hunkered down and waited. I'm glad I did because a very very knowledgeable young woman answered all my questions. She actually gave me way more info than I needed, but here's the deal: In my case, lascatx is wrong about them charging me monthly for the balance of the phone and not stopping until I bring it to their attention. In the past, I have opted for 2-year contracts at a lower, subsidized price. All I paid monthly was for my plan, i.e., voice, data, text. That was/is one of the benefits of locking into a contract. The salesperson told me that AT&T is one of the few carriers still doing this and soon, within a year, they will cease altogether. The option is still available to me to do this, but it would be the last time. My $70/mo total bill, which includes an unlimited data plan, is still mine to keep. I can buy the phone at the lesser amount and agree to a 2-year contract, or I can buy the phone for the full price. I'm not interested in paying over time and having it added to my monthly bill. If I decided to break my contract at any point, I will have to pony up the balance. So, really no risk at all for me to do the contract, as it's a savings of $450. She mentioned $40 here or there if I do one or the other, but at that point, I had reached my saturation point and I'm not gonna fuss over that amount. I hope this has been helpful. I have an existing plan I'd like to keep; I seem to do well with phones for two years; paying less is also nice.

For some patterns you will go under just one loop and not two. But, the normal crochet stitch is to go under the two loops. Using only one loop will produce a different stitch and is valid but not what you are aiming for here. If you so choose to crochet potholders you have to make small tight stitches or they won't be effective to hold hot handles with. You will be surprised to find your fingers getting hot through the spaces in the crochet stitches if you dont' have a tight enough fabric. And do remember to use cotton yarn for pot holders. Synthetic fibers will melt. For example think of the dishcloths that are popular. You would not want to do much hot pot lifting with one of those unless you stacked a couple of them together for bulk. I tell you this because in a recent search for pot holder patterns I came across a lot that were more for decoration than for real purpose. Or, they were more like hot pads and not pot holders. A hot pad does not have to be as tightly constructed as a pot holder. A pot holder should be a double thickness. There is a popular pattern for a diagonal pot holder that works up nicely with kitchen cotton. Just google it. It is popular and not hard to find.
