Help!! My tomatoes are wilting after transplant

:( I feel like a horrible tomato mom.

In the spring I planted tomatoes in containers, some from seed, some store bought and they were doing fine. Some were sharing a pot and were outgrowing the pot. Then we moved and have a huge yard so we set up a little garden are to grow veggies. Last night I transplanted the plants from the containers to the garden. I was careful not to harm the roots, but I'm sure there was some damage done. I tried to (as much as I could) keep the soil around the plants. I thoroughly watered them.

They looked fine this morning. This afternoon I went out to see them and they are all wilted! I watered them again.

The garden has full sun and it *is* very hot and humid today, but it was like that yesterday and they were fine. Also, they had been in the same spot as where my garden is now.

Any advice?
