I planted this at the end of last year and now I have forgotten the name of it. Dang... Anyone know what it is???

I have 3 purple tomatillo plants growing and they don't look like this one and their blossoms are yellow not white. Plus the seeds for tomatillos are small and I would have immediately recognized it as a non pepper(even though I am a gardening newbie, I know at least this much). I started and transplanted all my peppers first, so this plant would have to have larger seeds, similar to a pepper in size.

There were just those two that were that big.... the rest he picked were just normal medium sized onions and smaller... but these two were really big... and juicy sweet too.. Got to find out where the neighbor got his sets from too..I would like to plant sets like that next spring...

The one closest to my writing looks like some kind of Acer. The one smack bang in the middle of the second photo reminds me of my... it starts with P... it's a shrub... Philadelphis mexicana. Are you sure they are all trees? How did you grow them? From pieces? Seeds? Or some of each?

Ah yes... Hellebores!! Now for the cultivar... Hmm.. I vaugly remember picking out white with pink spots and yellow with pink spots but not green! Anyhow, I guess that is what came up!! Thanks for the help!

I have NEVER forgotten what I planted, or where, or when. Is my nose growing?
Those won't grow here so I'm pretty sure I haven't planted that one.
It is pretty though.

I have hellebores. It bloomed last year, but not this year. Hopefully it will bloom for me again this next winter. It is also called Lenten Rose since it is supposed to bloom during Lent. A friend of mine has them and hers have reseeded to make some pretty new plants.

isn't that the great joy of perenniels? That we are perennielly surprised? I have bulbs I planted in Dec. that are surprising me!

carrie751 - I have them planted on a North-Western faced bed, so they get a little early morning shade. The rest of the day they are in full sun.
