Miyashig is a favorite of mine. I also planted chinese "daikon" type radish (winter radish) that grew HUGE and were as tasty as the Daikon (but about 4lbs larger each). We had some tonight sauteed with cabbage. They are fantastic in soups and sweeten a soup like a rutabaga does. I also cook them and mash them with a little butter and salt (or sesame oil). So good and so versatile. The greens I use to make a mock watercress soup. They are "cut and come again" for the greens so I find these radishes to be a staple winter crop for us.

I have hellebores. It bloomed last year, but not this year. Hopefully it will bloom for me again this next winter. It is also called Lenten Rose since it is supposed to bloom during Lent. A friend of mine has them and hers have reseeded to make some pretty new plants.

I believe it is basil now too I have other basil growing in another pot close to it but it looks different but I rubbed the leaf and I believe it is basil too thanks everyone
