The plant in your had is tall fescue. Tall fescue leaf blade is ridged on one side and smooth on the other and new leaves are rolled. You probably have kentucky bluegrass mixed in as well. The leaf blade is not as wide as tall fescue and smooth on both sides, also new leaves are folded.

Unless you are doing hydroponics I dont see why you would spend all that money .... Can you absolutely not have any outdoors? Water plants as we call them can be grown in anything that holds water except aluminum (and copper too if Im not mistaken I honestly cant remember at this very moment). You can use kiddie pools for about $6.00 a pop. Or Rubbermaid tubs. All you need after that are seeds/plants and fertilizer. Now if you keep these plants indoors then wow yeah. Just so much money. But it sounds like you are going hydroponics style. Yes and that is costly. And basically.... any plant can be grown through hydroponics *S*

Stephen and Alan, I definitely deserved your comments... I just had a little trouble reading the lable Helena put on that package of seeds...I will be more careful in the future. I now have a favor to ask: If anyone prays, please pray for the safe return trip of our 27 year old daughter's (Heidi) Task Force to Amman, Jordan. There are 18 of them returning to Indy on Monday, July 11th. Due to the terrorist attacks in London, our family and (I'm sure) the families of the other 17 members are a little worried. Their trip got off to a bad start to begin with because of bad weather in DC, but they were able to rebook their flights two days later. They did end up flying through London, but I'm pretty sure they are going through Frankfurt on the way home. Hope no one minds me asking this favor... Thanks, Verna
