Some new fruit and some trees in flower for the 1st time.

My Cabeluda is in flower! I will get pictures out next week. I have had this for about 3 years now. It is finally getting flower buds- I am pretty excited.

I bought it from Sadhu at Govardham gardens as Myrciaria glazioviana, but see it elsewhere as Eugenia tomentosa. I assume they are the same????

I am looking forward to fruit.

I also now have flowers on my Peanut Butter fruit tree- I hope to have a number of fruit. Previous flowerings have produced only a few fruit that were misshapen/not ripe).

Also, for the first time, flowers on my canistel tree. Very exciting!

I have had a number of "pickles" on my jackfruit tree, but they all rot away before they get any size. I assume too much humidity this time of year.

But I have been picking some berries from my "Strawberry tree" (Mutingia) - very tasty! A few every day. This is a great, fast growing tree, that fruits easily. But is grows rapidly and I imagine will get to be pretty big!
