Grass clippings for mulch?

ninjabut

There used to be a guy on the AOL board that swore up and down that all he ever used for his tomatoes was grass clippings, and he had the BEST tomatoes in the world! LOL

Wouldn't ONLY grass clippings give the tomatoes too much nytrogin (sp) and make more foliage and less fruit?

I have my regular compost also, but now have a small lawn that will give me quite a bit of clippings. More than I can match with browns right now.

Any opinions out there? Nancy

P.S. How about using GCs on other veges?
