Good luck... I have tried to get forums started before, but I don't think iVillage will do it.

Well, I actually wrote an email and got a prompt reply stating that I should suggest the idea and see if people are interested, BUT, actually have it created is another story!

I didn't know! Thank you! One of the most instrumental people in my neurotypical 17 DD's life has been DJ, who is (currently) nonverbal and has autism. She was blessed to be in the same class with him for 3 years before he moved. His goal is to become verbal and be a voice for others who cannot speak -- he's been on CNN and interviewed by Sanjay Gupta. He is one of the most incredible people that I have ever met, and I am SURE that he will be an incredible mover and shaker ALL of his life. He is now choosing between several private colleges! Show me your support brackets for 15' or more overhang

Are you asking for brackets or corbels? We have brackets that are attached to the studs -- you can find these are shortrunpro.com; and we also have counterbalance brackets for our peninsula. You don't see the supports at all. I currently don't have any pictures -- but if you call the shortrun pro folks and tell you the specs of your countertop they will tell you what you need. They are not cheap. I ended up finding out what I needed from them, and then realized that the local community college had a welding and metal working program -- they got me in touch with someone locally who fabricated them for me for a much more reasonable price. Everyone who is gardening in Asia go to the Suggestion Forum on the link Peaseblossom has posted above. Just say "Yes I would use a forum for gardening in Asia". Some interest from every country in Asia would be GREAT!

Come on everyone. It will take a lot more to make a BIG list of Asian gardeners to enjoy a new forum. Get others from your country and all over Asia to join in and say "Yes, please."

I was thinking more like 200, DIFFERENT gardeners. I think the most important thing is INCREASING and CONTINUING interest.
Come on everyone, more than one from every country in Asia AND Asians living in any other country will be GREAT! Also, non Asians who are interested, just say OK.
Please keep using the link Peaseblossom has posted above to go to the "Suggestions forum." Show your interest in this, say "Yes, I want a new Gardening in Asia forum." Say it in your own words to show you like this idea.
