N. Texans, are you covering your toms tonight?

Well, after much temperate weather like highs in the low 80s, I got my tomatos planted this last weekend (Dallas suburb). Today we're making up for this winter's drought and warm weather all at once with 3 inches of rain predicted 38 degree lows over the next two nights. Question: should I slog around in the mud and cover everyone tonight, or can they take 38 degree temps over night? Because of all the moisture and continued clouds, I'd be very surprised to see the temps go any lower than 38. FYI the highs will only be in the 40s, then 50s today and tomorrow.
