hello am new on here but i would love too do this, my mother has been gone for 11 years...i have a daughter tho....but she is not into this...i love too do these things...i do alot of swaps and other boards and it is so fun...please count me in.let me know what we have too do tho.....i live in indiana , my name is sue ...have 6 grandkids ...love too plant flowers.

I would like to join and sign up my daughter. She is a good mom to her 18 month old and 4 year old daughters. She rarely has time for herself. She has been here when I have received swaps and was more excited then me. I know this would make her day. I'll send her info Tina.

This is already so fun!!!! Good morning all you lovely ladies!
I am so happy that so many of you are going to do this. Just imagine the look at "mom's" face when she gets tha enexpected package that day...frompeople she doesn't even know. What else can make someone so happy, that to have complete strangers say "I love ya" and I just wanted to make ya smile, this is YOUR day!
My mom is having so many health problems right now...mostly to do with her heart. SHe really has me worried. She is acting pretty much just like my dad right before he passed on to a better place. I am selfish, I don't want her to leave us yet, I want her here! She goes in on May 26th for heart surgery. As of right now, she only has 25% of her heart working. I wish this appointment could have been scheduled a bit sooner......

I will try to get a questionaire out in the next day or two asking info on your "mom". I will then pass it along to an exchange buddy to give them ideas of what she will like, can use, and enjoy!!!

I figure we can take new sign ups until the 1st of May. That way it leaves me two weeks to still get the new "moms" an exchange gal!

I have a neighbor, she lives right across the street from me. She has survived breast cancer, among other health problems. She is a single gal, 52 years of age, and just as sweet as pie!She works continuously running a motel all by herself 27/7. She loves plants and flowers as well. I think she would just LOVE it if she were to receive such a surprise out of no where! I am going to assign angel to send to her, and I will send to angels mom. I hope that made sense...:-)

Hello gals!!!! Are you all getting that box ready to go out to our mom's yet? I seen so many really cool things in the store last weekend! I can't wait for my mother to get her gift box and open it up! She is going to be so tickled. I have good news to report on my mom btw!!!! Today at the doctors office, they told her after she gets her pacemaker in, she should be good as new! Yeah!!!! I am going to throw a welcome home party for her when she gets out of the hospital! God is good isn't he!

Also, Heather received her box of goodies, and was just thrilled!!!! So thank you Mellen for helping me to help make her happy! And Abbey, if you stroll through here, thank you as well!

I have not gotten Mellen's friends box out yet because my 6 year old daughter broke her leg yesterday at school. She was trying to get off the monkey bars and she thought she had her leg loose and she didnt. So needless to say I have been busy with her all day. Her dad will be home tomorrow and I will be able to go to the post office to mail it. Again I am sorry. Also my mom got her box yesterday from Mellen and she said it was wonderful! Thanks for being so patient Mellen!!

Ruby51, I need to hear from you today, or I am contacting Spike in regards to our situation. This is not acceptable behavior. We do these Round Robins because they should be enjoyable, not stressful. Your trade partner went beyond the call of duty here to make sure that your mom had a wonderful gift box for Mothers Day. Please don't deny her mom of of the same jesture because you fell "offended" for some reason. If you e-mial me back today, I will not post anything else on the forum, or contact GW. It is now the Saturday after Mother's Day. My friend has still not received her Mother's Day box. This is such a disappointment since I sent my pal's mom a boxful of very nice items, and she received it before Mother's Day. Mellen

if so you can check to see what the hold up is . or where it might have went to .
was it sent prioity ?? if not then most boxes
take 7-9 days .

No I didnt get delivery confirmation on the box. As with everything that has happened with my daughter it totally slipped my mind. I will resend the package Monday and will get delivery confirmation on it. If for some reason she gets the 1st box then I guess she will be real lucky!
