Ya'll really ought to look at these pictures that Joe was kind enough to take and to post.

These will be our memories of our first MTPS at the new site. Lucas had everybody eating our of his hand but Bonnie has him wrapped around her little finger! :-)

We're starting Phase II of our MTPS history. Be there Saturday to enjoy and be a part of the next generation of The Middle Tennessee Plant Swap.

Hey I resemble that remark! I butt-in on every thread. The good thing is that all three swaps are on different weekends so everyone can come to all of them! Hi Jenn! Ugh, I still have to get my tulips in. I missed my window with the really pretty weekend whenever that was, and now I guess I'm going to be stuck doing it in the freezing cold and rain. :) I didn't buy too many this year, just 30 or so for a small area near the front porch. You got a great deal on yours! Other than that, I'm trying wintersowing for the first time this year. I've been hanging out on the seed exchange, swapping seeds. Never thought I'd try seeds! But I keep hearing how wonderful it is and once you try it you'll be hooked, so why not? I am hoping to get at least one plant of everything I sow...and who knows, if I have more success than that I may be showing up at the spring swap with a lot of cool stuff! My rose cuttings are still doing OK. I started with six inside and I'm down to four. Still debating on opening the bags or not. I also have some rose cuttings outside under plastic, and so far haven't lost one of those! So, I'm thinking I am going to have a better success rate with that method.

Enclosed was: My very first Asiatic Lilies 'Connecticut Star' &'Regal' 'Final Touch' daylily 'Dartmoor'Butterfly Bush Gayfeather Grand Mallow Hibiscus Burgundy Phlox 'Scarlet Flame' My funny item was three rubber ducks that light up( the 2 youngest kids have already claimed them) Bar of Lavender soap(smells great!!!) It's here! It's here! It's here! I know Beth is probably just about as excited as I am. It's a stress when you wonder what happened to a package you sent. First pictures: And the whole package: Thanks so much, Beth. The light isn't that great in my kitchen so the photos don't do this justice. The teacup charm is adorable - Bird in a nest, another tiny bird, charms and flowers dangling on the ribbons, and the green and yellow are the perfect look for Spring. In my swap I had gummy worms, a note card and another card, cosmos cupcake seeds, paper napkins with a great party look, and my teas are Sweet & Spicy and Earl Grey. Well worth the wait! (By the way, Beth, that hummus container that you packed the charm in did the trick. It got here in perfect condition even after all that traveling.) Jeanne

I tell all my customers and people I meet at the Garden Centers about GW and the MTPS. Maybe we need to do a better job of getting out the word about what a great site GW is for plant lovers. Tell all your friends.
