Lantana in East Tennessee

Three months ago, I bought various colors of lantana in those small little... I don't know... those tiny little multi-containers. About $2.50 each as I remember.

Anyway, in just two months, those things are HUGE! They have gone from 4" tall to 2ft tall and 4ft wide and covered with blooms... I don't don't do anything to help them along.

Even in this miserable heat and 4 month drought, they are the best part of the garden.

I live in Knox County. Will Lantana survive the winter and come back on their own?... or do I need to replant in spring?

I'm hoping that I can just mulch them well and see them next year.

Last year, I lived in Florida and Lantana was sometimes thought of as a weed... and I don't remember lantana looking this good down there. It always seemed a bit beaten and weary in Florida.

So can this stuff last through an East Tennessee winter?
