Non blooming Crape (crepe) Myrtle

Marianna_NWFla

I purchased two Crape Myrtles years ago. Both were tagged with a very generic plant tag. (type of plant and color, no name)

They stayed in pots for some years and both have been in the ground for 4 or 5 years. One has tripled in height and blooms white, the other barely has doubled and never

bloomed. They both are in full sun approx. 300 ft. apart.

Can anyone think of any reason a CM wouln't bloom?

I'm beginning to think the non-bloomer isn't a CM. Anyone

know of a CM imposter? (Ha Ha)
