Some pictures I haven't posted yet, of my spring bloomers.

Silver Star,

Tamora, still a baby,

Outrageous, thanks to Rockerdude's posts,

Midnight Blue again,

Katherine Locher who must be treated for thrips to look good,

Just Joey

Ingrid Bergman, who is ever so much more beautiful than pictures show and is awesome as a cut rose,

Bill Warriner,

a garden scene, Summer Fashion, Givenchy, and a Gemini tree,

Thanks for those fantastic pictures! There's nothing more delicious than freshly picked citrus (especially those oranges). You're right though, it is sad to see that orchard going to waste and many of the SoCal suburbian neighborhoods were built on old citrus groves with some of the magnificent trees still standing in peoples' backyards. In some neighborhoods, you can stand by one of the citrus trees and then notice that several trees in adjacent yards are all in a line. Don't worry too much about the lemon tree as I've seen them grow pretty rapidly. I also always liked the nice privacy screen and windbreak provided by those Italian cypress. I hope you did get a chance to cover them tonight! Its pretty cold for SoCal!

Br. Arif, When I look at your gardens I am amazed and in awe. You truley have created a world of beauty around you. When I look at my small sun room with the dreary weather outside, and my plants in pots, they appear like birds in a cage when compared to your gardens. Thanks gardenerme and jenn :-) Yes, Vista is a really great climate, very temperate, and for the most part we just miss the the marine layer since we're up at about 900 ft. elevation (up in the hills). And yes, the cherries will most certainly produce! They are fairly new low-chill varieties from Dave Wilson Nursery that were specifically developed for our area. If you search the Fruit & Orchard Forum, I think there's a thread that provides a report on them from the coastal S. California area that was a "two thumb's up". They are Minnie Royal and Royal Lee. They cross pollinate each other. I'm really excited about them, actually, and they are VERY happy in my climate. Pretty pleased! Nope,Kathy,Its not long enough.Your roses are beautiful.Eureka is gorgeous.I see a dead one in my garden and I am thinking thats what it is. I love that Clematis.Its really gorgeous.I have never seen that color before.I bought 6 new clematis this spring and have lost 3 of them.I think the guy that cuts my grass for me got too close to the fence with the weedeater and chopped them off.I don't see no sign of them.I have very few roses with A bloom,most of the roses don't have no leaves left on them.Bad year for me with roses,but also wasn't able to take care of them as good as usual.Ambridge Rose is gorgeous too.Looks like my Evelyn thats blooming now,but the blooms are about 6 ft high and can't see then well,as well as my Glowing Peace and its about 8 ft tall.,, more photos, please. OH WOW, I love that Silver Star and Midnight Blue.Nope, the post ain't tooo long,I think it ain't long enough.Need more beauties to look at.Your roses are gorgeous. Thanks for sharing them.

Ohhh, Kathy! Very, very nice walk! I love Silver Star:) Midnight Blue is terrific, that has to be a difficult one to photograph. Your roses are all very beautiful and your photos are excellent. Take as long as you like:)

Rose pictures long? I don't think so. Oh Silver Star is amazing and your Tamora is gawgus! Midnight Blue leaves me wondering about my order for Ebb Tide. It's nice to have some beautiful roses this week.
