Can I share some more pretties,most are bush shots

I just keep finding more blooms opening up and still have roses that will be a few weeks yet to open.

4th Of July, couldn't get the bush,its too big,and not many blooms on it yet.

George Burns Bush in a pot.

Double Knockout again with more blooms on it.WOW

Not a good picture,but, a couple Gemini buds in front, then the Granada bush,and Distant Drums behind it.

Tiffany

Teddy Bear Mini,and the color is wrong on it, Suppose to be a Russet or burnt orange color.

Beautiful, Jean!! I love your TIFFANY! I miss that rose. I bought one a few yrs ago as a bagged bareroot, but it isn't the real thing. I had my original one at the mobile home, and it grew like 7ft tall and smelled delicious! That DOUBLE KNOCKOUT is really something too. So vivid and eye-catching! Isn't spring wonderful?!

Simply beautiful Jean! Wow, I think Carla was asking how Granada and Gemini looked together. I hope she sees your thread. I bet your Knockouts just glow. Everything you have looks really wonderful. Knock on wood the deer stay away, this is really your year:) I really like Teddy Bear, I have to order a couple of roses from Nor'East, it's a little late to be planting already but I forgot to one rose I wanted, I may just need this one too:)

Thank you, Renee. It's been very important to me to not have a glaring divide between the garden and the natural landscape. Do you perhaps mean the fifth picture in regard to the pink rose? That's Lavender Dream, a hybrid musk, to which Jeri enabled me. It's not much more than two years old but is a healthy and vigorous grower and will probably get much larger. bgrose, thank you for the wonderful compliment. I don't think of myself as a very good gardener; it's been mostly trial and error, and of course the beautiful roses make me look good. I do pay a lot of attention to color combinations and I think a harmonious color scheme is at least half the battle. ibheri, how wonderful that you've decided on Rosette Delizy. Mine has been slow to build up but it's been well worth the wait. The Fawn is a really easy rose that blooms a lot, with really healthy, shiny green leaves. My Duchesse de Brabant has quite a bit of mildew and so is not really performing that well. I hope it will do better when it becomes more mature, but its sport, Mme. Joseph Schwartz, is older and still does it every spring. Ingrid

Went to the corner store today and picked up a nice hanging basket full of bright pink petunia's for the iron hook in my front yard. While I was there I took a look at the other flowers they had and found a daylily I had to have. So now "Double Red Royal" is nicely planted in my garden. It has a scape so should flower at some point. Can't wait to see its double bloom! I also got confirmation that my daylily orders will be shipped out this week. I'm so excited to see which bonus plants I got. When they arrive, I'll be worse than a kid in a candy store! Jason

Okay, here I sit in February wishing I never did a Hey J search tonight to come up with all your garden pictures. Now how am I supposed to get through the rest of the winter after going through these gorgeous tours? I need so many more whiskey barrels that I can't even think about it. What a transformation from when you first came here. All I can think about is the awful backbreaking work you put in -- are you ever going to stop and one summer just enjoy such beauty? Karima;Thank you,sorry you can't grow the big Cleamatis.It gets to 100 here during the summer for a short time.Usually its in mid to upper 90's. Beth.Thank you.I do hope you got Grenada this time as its a beautiful rose.These blooms this year is huge,bigger then they ever have been before and I thought they were big last spring. I am not real sure what the blue flowers are.I thought they are wild Phlox as I had dug up about a dozen along the hwy a few years ago.I was told they won't grow if I dig up any,as can't transplant them,but every one lived.One of my daughters says they are the wild Sweet Williams,but I still think I am right, that they are Phlox.Hoe I spelled that right :) Bgrose. At first I read the name George Burns Bush as George Bush and thought that somebody named a rose for the current president f the USA Lol

Very nice roses, I like them all, Distant Drums, Rainbows End (my favourite colours), Tiffany, the minis... all of them have very beautiful colours, and are very pretty.

These are gorgeous Jean. The only one I have is Tiffany. How are the deer nowadays?? They snatched lots of the buds off my iceberg so I got out the liquid fence spray and they haven't had roses for dinner since. I hope they keep away. Judy

Great pictures Jean. I love stripeys and your George Burns. Can't wait for my Tiffany, one of my favorites. I'm getting bloom envy...seems like most people have buds and blooms, I've just got new growth...I'll let your fine pictures get me through. :)

They look beautiful. I'm really impressed with your Double Knockout. The flowers look really pretty, much more so than regular Knockout. And of course Tiffany is perfection. Thanks for posting them.

Beth, Thank you for the nice comments.I hope your bagged rose is Tiffany.These blooms this year are huge and a nice scent too. I am loving Double Knockout.Taking photos of it and just forgot about my other Knockout and its covered in blooms.
Les: Thank you. Yes this Knock out really stands out.The blooms are pretty big,too and just a firey red.Too bad it doesn't have a fragrance.

Aprille, Thank you.George Burns has decided to grow this year.I have never gotten more then just a couple blooms on it at a time,but now it has about a dozen blooms and some buds, too.

Judy: Thanks, so far the deer have not been here. I mixed up my own stuff and sprinkled around all the bushes about 6 weeks ago,and so far its working great.I think I need to soon mix up another batch of it and sprinkle around again,before I go out one day and have no buds or blooms left,oh and no leaves either.I have used the Liquid Fence before and it worked ok, but its expensive,and the stuff I used last year was expensive too,and my own stuff I mixed up,turned out to be twice as much for half the price.

Hoovb.Thank you. I am impressed with this Double Knockout too.The blooms are bigger then I expected.The worms I been fighting don't seem to like it as I haven't found any on it yet,while they eating up all the other roses.

The color on your Teddy Bear is correct... it is a muted burnt orange that fades to a russet pink tone...
