How much sun is it getting?

When I first got it, it was in my kitchen window. (I used to live in Utah so too cold to put outside). And the window was west facing so got afternoon sun. Right now it is outside with probably 85% sun. It is sitting in front of my house facing south. thanks for all your help:)

The high phosphorus fertilizer will definitely help with blooms. They usually indicate three numbers, and I don't know what the other two are, but the middle one is the amount of phosphorus in it, for example 10-25-10. They also have these things at Home Depot (or wherever you get your plant stuff) called Bloom Buster or Bloom Burst or something similar. The others are right, you definitely don't want to freeze your plant. The more sun the better, as far as I can see. I have a couple plants in my classroom at work and they are on the window that gets nearly all day sun. Pretty consistent temperature, but I keep the window open as much as I can. They told me this too, to be patient, but you've waited four years already. :) I've only been doing this since May! I think you only want to fertilize once the growing season starts, and water sparingly at that.

Yeah I believe Mark is correct. Wait until the sprin/summer growing season to start with the fertilizer. I think Bill (our resident expert) says to start with a higher nitrogen fertilizer when the plant first start to come out of dormancy, and then switch to the higher phosphorus. Feed every two weeks. Some also say, water when the soil is dry. But here in Florida, during the summer, the plants seem plenty thirsty to me. Different areas require different methods, but I think the fertilizer is a constant. I saw a little poem the other day on a nursery sign that said...
Early to bed
Early to rise
Work like heck
And Fertilize!!

That about sums it up..

Thank you all for your help. Being in Arizona I am not too worried about it getting too cold, but I will push into the sun a bit more to get as much sun. I will get some fertilizer while I am remembering and hold off giving it to it until the spring.
