Kathy - GORGEOUS! thanks for sharing. my favourite of the lot (if one can pick a fave out of these beauties) is the first picture. Love that Pearly Gates! "sob" I got so many daylilies last year and DH "accidently" threw out half of them (about $300 worth) while cleaning out the garage. he says that how was he to know the boxes on the groud stuffed with newspaper had plants in them? oh well.

Oh, Kathy, they are all so lovely, but if I had to pick, I think Symphonie and Night Beacon has to be my favorite. But I do like the complementary colors you use also. I tend to pick contrasting colors, but I'm thinking now I should also put some like Alpine Sunset and Eureka together too. That is really cool!

well, i replyed to this last night,but I don't see it today.It disappeared,so I just write another one.Kathy your roses are just beautiful,and the companion plants are too,especially the daylilies.Love them.Wish you would post some more of the daylilies.I am very slowly getting a few to add between my roses,too.

I just always love seeing the great beautiful gorgeous pics you post Kathy. I love clematis myself and have about 20 different ones. I also have Beautiful edgings, new to me last year and I didn't get to see it bloom. Can't wait till this year.

I love your Disneyland rose, what stunning blooms. Just lovely. Your view from the kitchen sink is amazing. I could daydream while trying to get the dished done at your house. Thanks for posting all these pics.

p.s. the colorful snapdragons, were they fragrant? I grew 2 types from seed last year, grew well and bloomed all summer/fall. But they were white, not colorful like yours.

Thank you, that's just what I needed. Beautiful ! I think roses are at their loveliest when they have companions growing up and around and through them. I'm getting so I have almost as many daylilies and clematis as I do roses !

Carla, I didn't get your email. It probably went into my span folder. I get too much spam every day to check it. I use an older Olympus 3000, no longer available. I have had very good luck with Olympus cameras. My earlier one was a beginner model and did quite good, too, especially with reds.

If you don't mind me asking, where did you manage to acquire the Graduation Day mini? I ask since there are several folks in the U.S. that would like this rose, but I've never seen a source for it down there. Brad Jalbert of Select Roses, who hybridized this rose, doesn't ship to the U.S.

I got it from someone on the forum who posts here very infrequently but seems to be watching. It was so nice of him to send it to me. I had no idea how nice it would be.

Dear resalesally, I believe the clematis source you are referring to is Silver Star Vinery. I order from them for healthy clematis with big roots.

I also have returned to this post a few times. I love the color echoes of the wallflower/Alpine Sunset combo. Also really like the Symphony/daylily combo. I'm a sucker for that dark color of the Night Beacon.

Update. Pearly Gates, as usual, is lagging behind its clematises. Both the blue one and the white with lavender edges have started blooming, with PG just not ready. Hope it catches up before the clematises are done.
And, I have searched everywhere but no orange snapdragons. I think they must be bought in fall here because no one has them. I have noticed that ALL the stores around here carry the same annuals. Must all be using the same supplier. Boring!
