can you share the recipe? please. I would say a sweeter sauce would be good on ribs or wings. But not to sure about how it tastes. The taste usually tells me what it wants to do.

Have you tried it on a cheeseburger or pizza?

I've used the Ball recipe too. I have cut down on sugar that it calls for and added sweet red peppers for more flavorful pulp.
Decreasing the sugar does not seem to harm it any.
Also added some garlic...of course. I don't think it hurts to experiment a little.

I use hot sauce with everything! If it is sweet, try it on ice cream. For those of you a little more conservative, almost any hot sauce is good on chicken.

I probably eat most of my hot sauces with absolutley nothing. A good hot sauce can be eaten straight from the bottle. It took me a long time before I realized that the foods I was eating were merely vessels for transporting hot sauce to my mouth.

I would use it to spice up tomato juice coctails, spaghetti sauce, chili, Brunswich stew, hot salsas, catsup, and other things where just a little hot is needed and the sweetness is not gonna become predominant.

It would also be good sprinkled on collards, turnip greens, mustard greens, and spinach, all of which need vinegar, hot pepper, and a tad of sugar to complement the bitter edge.
