Would love to see pictures of gardens
Comments (24)Thank you all for your input. I appreciate it so much. patricia43, words fail me to comment of the beauty of your garden; overwhelming is the best I can find. I can just imagine the fragrance, it must be exquisite. tivoli_rose, I'm awed by your photography and the lovely plants you have in your garden. They all look absolutely perfect. hoovb, I LOVED your garden, with such an awesome house set in the middle of it. I wonder at the amount of work you must do to have it in such pristine condition. The composition and design of the garden are wonderful. I was also able to find pictures of Jon's garden in Wessex and Maurizio's garden in Sardinia. I believe Shah Jahan's words when he first visited Kashmir in northern India are appropriate: "If there is a paradise on earth, it is here, it is here, it is here". The longer I am on this forum and read past threads the more I've come to appreciate the beauty and uniqueness of your individual voices. There is so much caring, intelligence and knowledge here. Comments (56)I love seeing all of these adorable babies! I wish that my digital camera was working. My kitty Chester could be a twin of Kate's Bligh and he's 20lbs too. The garden is his favorite place to hang out. I am working on getting him used to dogs, but so far he chases every dog except the old yellow lab next door, and they are great friends, so I know it's possible. I didn't believe that he chased dogs until I saw it myself! Diana...See MoreCameron, I would love to see layout of your gardens
Comments (17)Thanks Cameron, before we dozed the back yard away from the house, that ground came up on the house about a foot, and was rotting some of the wood siding. As you can tell, we dozed the area about 60 feet long, down about 5-6 ft deep, and terraced the wall. it made this area usable, as before it was all fairly steep slope. All of these stones were layed by my husband. I think he said they weighed about 80 lb each. We really didnt have a problem with run off tho. The yard at the upper wall is about 150 feet wide, narrowing to about 100 feet wide at the far back. Your place looks beautiful Cameron. The Thyme walk sounds interesting. I would love to see a photo if anyone finds it. tammy...See MoreWould love to see your beautiful roses
Comments (224)SoFl, I wanted to add that Bolero smells similar to Sugar Moon. I could have a garden comprised of those two just for smelling. Guess I'll have to add Sharifa Asma to my list now if it smell similar. : ) When I comment on a post and go to it from my email notice, it take me directly to the last posts and if it's a short one without pics, I just read it in my email....See Moresara_ann-z6bok
