Sam - according to the humane society Angel is a husky/german shepherd mix. She definately got the GSD personality. She was my first dog and we bonded very quickly. Here is another picture that shows what she looks like a little better.

Watching Max watch an almond... that dog does some strange stuff. Sometimes when he gets a treat, after carrying it around and whimpering and hiding it sixteen or seventeen times, he will place it carefully on the ground, then back away and study it... then get up, move to a different angle and study it again... One gets the feeling he is trying to commit it to memory, or preparing to draw it, or waiting to see what it does. When he does stuff like this, I tell Ron that Max is HIS dog...

Wow so many wonderful looking pets. I have 2 indoor cats and a stray cat that sorta adopted me this summer .....but she won't let you touch her or get too close, she just likes to be fed her two meals a day plus treats and just hang around the yard. Although I have been finding little mounds of mulch around the roses and I am not too thrilled about it. I just don't know what she is going to do this winter. I feel so bad for her and want to help her. She is a beautiful long hair cat, a little dirty and matted, she could use a bath and her eyes are the most prettiest dark blue. I would love to bring her inside but my two cats wouldn't like that too much. Well anyway here she/he is.

Yes Buford, I would consider doing that, I am going to call the Humane Society tomorrow about her but I don't want them picking her up and either putting her to sleep or adopting her out to some one else who will just let her out to fend for herself again. I really like her.

Remember the white kitty with blue eyes is likely deaf!! I had one many years ago and she was beautiful, best little sofa pillow you ever saw! When she was a baby, I thought she was incredibly dense, though - she would never come when called, etc. Finally I would get annoyed and start jumping up and down - and lo and behold, she would come running! Didn't find out she was deaf until years later - how goofy was *I*?? After we found out, I changed her name from 'Sugar' to 'Thump'... 'She slipped out one day and I never found her - still miss my baby!

I love seeing all of these adorable babies! I wish that my digital camera was working. My kitty Chester could be a twin of Kate's Bligh and he's 20lbs too. The garden is his favorite place to hang out. I am working on getting him used to dogs, but so far he chases every dog except the old yellow lab next door, and they are great friends, so I know it's possible. I didn't believe that he chased dogs until I saw it myself!

Glad you like the photo of my baby. He really is my little child. I would like for him to become a little more comfortable with dogs. He has kind of a dog hating mentality I'm afraid. If he feels spooked or threatened by a dog he comes to find me and we explore together. With Mom leading the way he is very bold! Otherwise he hides behind my legs with a poofy tail and a very watchful attitude.
