Maureen, good to see you posting! And your plumie is GORGEOUS!! So pretty! Isn't it wonderful to have a living remembrance of your father...something that he grew and you will continue to grow and pass on. Thank you Alex, for looking in on my pix! Your encouragement is greatly appreciated!..as are your wonderful garden pix..all of them! As for the plumeria pudica, I'm not sure, but is that one that does not drop its leaves in winter? I notice in your picture, it looks quite different, the leaves look darker and "bolder"! You are right about wanting more!.. My other adoptee is a one-branched creature with larger leaves on the top. As I've asked in another post, I was hoping, perhaps next spring, to cut the branch into a cutting and start a new one (the propagation bug bites too); or else maybe I should give it another year to show that it too can blossom (It has never). Thanks again. Does anyone who might have seen my pix submitted on July 12 to the gallery, have an idea of which "named" variety it might look like. I realize it doesn't prove it is; but curious! I didn't see the old thread so I don't know whether you are just potting up to a larger pot or doing some drastic root pruning. If the latter, then you'd probably want to remove some of the old leaves and keep it in part shade for a while.

Is it left over from last season? Maybe from an inflo that you kept on it during dormancy? That sounds like its possible... I have a seed pod on my J-105 from last year and it just " there" without any leaves as of now.. It will take another few months for it to mature. They say it takes around nine months for the pd to ripen... Leave it.. It not hurting anything.. It would be nice to see a pic of this pod. Sometimes they do pop up, but its usually after the flowers have been pollinated .. So lets see a pic and then we can determine what going on!! Have a great day!! Laura Sorry it's sideways..
