I know almost nothing about lilies but do know what you've already learned about the top soil not being right. So I would repot the lily as you did the other plants and I add chunks of Jobe's fruit tree fertilizer spikes. The only reason I would do this is because it covers a lot of bases. Allows me to check the condition of the rhizome, maybe it's starting to rot in that wrong soil. Maybe switching to the proper soil is the issue. Maybe the nutrients have leached out of the soil, or there's too much rot going on in there and some harmful chemical like ammonia has built up. Basically I wouldn't know what else to do. If you don't get some good responses here there are forums more specific to water lilies which have people I've always thought knew what they were talking about. I've read the "Water Garden" section at another forum...unfortunately GardenWeb doesn't allow members to mention other forums so I can't direct you further. Forum owners want to keep eyeballs, actual help apparently isn't as important.

Ill, they aren't really very pretty, but they ARE cool, in a freaky sorta way. Goldenpond, I wish they were as pretty as razzmatazz, but they just look sort of steroidal. Cindee...dang! My Kryptonite secret is out! Musicman, sorry you lost yours. They should just be coming into their own right about now. Some of mine bloomed early this year, too, but most are covered with flowers now, making their usual late summer-early fall splash of nonstop color. I dearly LOVE these, and they are NATIVE, too. And pretty drought tolerant. They do die back after blooming, but new ones happily volunteer to replace the old ones, so they continue to thrive. Marcia

Denise, Yes you are correct, as does mine for the “maintenance” program. I have found that my Citrus seem to be much heavier feeders and the recommended dosage per gallon, although works, does not allow them to grow and thrive to their full potential. I may be 100% wrong. Although back in 2015 I believe when I started using it I noticed 1 tbsp per gallon really helped the tree’s green up and grow on a steady rate. I even went up to 2 tbsp per gallon but never really noticed much from 1 tbsp per gallon. Twice a year (spring, and mid summer) I will also scratch in some Vigoro Citrus Fertilizer into the surface per instructions. Although I only do that twice a year during the heavy production. This is a picture of my two Meyers when they were very young, but full of growth and dark green. Keep in mind nobody has recommended this or directed me towards this method of fertilization, it has been through trial and error and what my personal tree’s seem to like and thrive from. By the way, I also flush the pots with water before every feeding (every two days during the heat of the summer)

So i purchased a plant that tagged as variegated cape jasmine, at first arrival at my home, it seems good and healthy. But after few weeks of my care, new leave emerges but with deformed looks, This is the leave when purchased And this is the new emerged leave that looks kinda deformed, and there are none full green leave. The only fertilizer that i used are worm castings every 2 weeks which means only twice been fed. Regardless of that the leave looks healthy and haven't yet see any struggles. there are mealy bugs 1-2 on the new leave. could it be overfertilized? Oversun exposure?¿
