@jlco, Fiona et al - The round yellowish to greenish orbs are not the same as the fruiting fungal bodies seen in Emma's post. What the OP and others showed in the images uploaded are evidence of the presence of usually subterranean female relatives of the Margarodes genus and closely related to armored scale insects found on plant parts above ground. Eggs are laid in late spring or summer. The first instars (crawlers) emerge from light pink eggs laid in a cluster and enclosed in a white waxy sac. You've probably seen these two, but thought them to be a form of fungi. No pictures of the eggs have been posted to this thread. As soon as crawlers emerge, they go looking for a root to feed on, and not long after the onset of feeding, they begin emitting a secretion that becomes their protective outer covering that gives them their common name - "ground pearls." If you use magnification, you can see their mouth parts sticking out of the small balls, which are a tough waxy coating. The nymphs develop over summer and fall, and by winter, completing the life cycle as they become adults, which overwinter in the cyst/ 'pearl'. Ground Pearls/ Margarodes Ground pearls ^^^ Al

This is normal. A calla flowers, then it is pollinated, then it starts to close a bit and turns a darker or green color on the outside of the spathe (petal part). Then the seeds begin to form, as they get bigger, they get heavier and the "flower" may droop over. The peas, or fruit, get quite large. You can let this go, let the fruit start to turn yellow, then cut, separate the fruit, and give them a little squeeze and out will pop one to several seeds. Plant in a pot and keep moist and you will grow some baby callas!

i figured you would suggest a late laying stinkbug .. confused as to what plant they were laying on .. based on the uniformity of the pattern.. subject to the leaf shape ... or one of those other bugs that usually use the gourd family ... you know.. momma bursting at the seams.. man.. when the time come.. they gotta come out.. wherever she is.. lol ... regardless.. if that is the sum total of what you found.. i would ignore it ... if the plant is covered in them.. then i might react ... but frankly.. eggs dont even mean that bug will have any impact on that plant ... you might want to take such to your extension office.. or a high end nursery.. the local peeps might know .... or be aware of ... what plague is currently in your area ... and if in fact.. it is a problem ... be leery of them wanting to sell you remedies ... come back and discuss with us first ... ken Here is a link that might be useful: link
