I think that it sounds like they have very fair prices and I wish I lived closer. It sounds like they have some great plumeria!

bless you bless you. Thanks to the max on putting this post on. I will go in the morning, appreciate the information. I missed the early plants last year, was too new in buying, got some much later in the summer which you announced. Hoping those will bloom this summer.

Going to look up what you mentioned you bought, not sure what they look like. You saved me a lot of money, trying to buy on ebay!!!! Want that dwarf singapore PLUS..ha good luck on what you bought. not sure what to buy

Yes, the prices are very reasonable for potted plants. I've bought several CUTTINGS on ebay that have cost twice that much! The location where I bought mine is the store on Sepulvida (between Nordoff and Parthenia). I had thought that those of you who don't live out here could purchase some online from their website, but I guess they dont sell online which is a real bummer! For those of you who dont have access to the stores out here, I wouldn't have a problem purchasing them for you and shipping them. I'd need some advice on how to do it as safely as possible though. The plants are in one gallon pots, which might be a little heavy to ship and I wouldn't want to take them out of their pots so I'd definitely need advice on the proper way to ship them!
Karen B: When I saw that they had all those plumies I thought of you! I went into the nursery to buy more cactus mix and pumice, and was pleasantly surprised to see all of those plumie plants! (and of course I couldnt resist buying some) It was hard to limit myself to the four I bought :)

Careful guys, don't blow all your money just yet. The season is only just beginning and Green Arrow will be getting many many more in, especially in June and July. You should give them a call to ask when their shipments come in. Be the first in line and snatch up the ones with the inflos!!!! I do it every year, but now I may have some competition!

Joanna, went over to green arrow this morning, most of the ones you mentioned were gone..But I found Kimo, a nice two tip plant with leaves bought it...thanks appreciate the ifo. Were a lot of pinks and others I am not familiar, with, considered getting cerise, didn't know what it looked like. Saw Madame Pele, but could not find a picture on that one.

HHHEy Tony, long time no chat..hows things going? How are your plants doing? I did not know that about June and july with inflos..would definately like that. I felt getting this one now, might bloom this fall, getting it early. Lot of you have said Kimo is a good one..whew hot!

Wow cool! Thank you for the store location. My only plumeria is one that I bought in Hawaii. Recently the paper boy threw the paper into it and broke one of the major branches off. :( I'm not sure if it's still alive, but if it isn't I now know where to get another. I think I'm going to take a trip up to that Nursery sometime this summer :)

Karen, I must have gotten there right after a shipment came in because there was a lot of plants. I'll have to find out how often they get them in and let you know!
Plumeriaplant, did your plant ooze latex (white sticky stuff) when the tip broke off? Try taking a needle and poking the plumie with it. If latex comes out it's still alive. If you're in the San Fernando Valley, there is also a plumeria supplier with quality plants at good prices. His name is Matthew from Island Plumeria, and his website is: www.islandplumeria.com
He has a huge selection too! (at least he did last year)

Karen, I am well and my Plumies are doing fantastic!! I have several inflos forming thanks to the nice weather.

Yes, Joanna things only get better at Green Arrow when summer approaches. Plus, you can order nearly any variety you want and they will call you when it arrives.

For those who are not too far from Studio City there is a gem of a place called Mainly Seconds. I went there today for a pot and low and behold they had about 20 rooted Plumies and ALL had inflos!!! I have no idea what variety they are, but at $7.99 I picked up two. They are in small 4 inch pots, but both of mine have over 50 buds. Caution--they have been in indirect light so it's best to keep them in similar lighting until flowering has finished. Mine will remain indoors until the flowering is done at which point I will repot them and slowly acclimate them to the great outdoors.

Celadine is white rimed with mostly yellow. Smells like Hawaii. it's the first to bloom and will bloom it's pretty little head off all year! Buy it it will never let you down. Cherise, cherry in french is cherry colored. Madem Pele is a great one too. Go to the PSA site and you can look all of them up. Just google PSA

Oh, and Karen yes, Kimo is to die for!!! It is so unbelievably gorgeous with a matching scent. It really warms the heart. It also looks like it glows in certain lighting. Good find!!

Great to hear that on Kimo great, wasn't sure, glad I chose a good one, has two tips. I went there hoping for kauka wilder and nebels rainbow. they wern't there. Heard you mention kimo so bought it. Yes do know where mainly seconds is, will check them out monday, thanks . like that store!

My computer is going nuts, my fan is roaring like i have never heard and the typing is not working..so shutting down. chat later. oooooh had two large 5 ft plants given to me. first time for me.......I can say>>>>I have two inflos coming! yippee. one is yellow, hope for atzec gold..other is a white pink blend think with deep raspberry on back..Trying to remember. Neighbors gave them to me..does not know name..so excited..yea on yours..will get back tomorrow. Any car buffs. tomorrow April 29th, is my husband's classic car show at the Autry Museum accross from the zoo.. Will be about 250 classics, plus Jay leno comes!! our 56 Buick will be in there. public free, 10 to 2 pm.. I am doing the raffle, door prize tables. going to bed.
