Very healthy plants. I love seeing coconuts everywhere, even in southern florida their arent as many cocos as their are in the true tropics.

Not choosing yet...just an initial skirmish. Got a couple of samples and some propaganda to read, so we'll live with the samples for a while and decide what "flavor", then choose the slab(s) when we get closer to that step. Staff at the place told us that they can spray the slabs with water to give you a better idea of what they'll look like polished/oiled. Right now, just beginning the framing stage of our house build.

BB, I was just thinking of posting an update, so perfect timing. Yes the blasted post is gone baby gone! Here is the bathroom layout that ended up working the best after mocking up several different configuration. I actually will be able to fit up to a 48" vanity. The vanity and toilet bump back into the bedroom wall. Shower opposite with angled wall toward the entry to it. I am loving it! Ecko has already made herself at home on my couch mock up! This view is taken standing at front door. Here is the new bathroom layout. That line in front of vanity and toilet is that header beam above. I'm thinking about a flat ceiling with soft lighting over that area. But on bedroom side, that wall will go straight up to the angled ceiling. TV is going there. Not quite centered to bed, but good enough. Still a lot to do, but we are thrilled with everything. Everyone who sees it wants to move in! Thank you my GW fam! Pretty soon, I will be asking for finishes help!

What is the normal rainfall in the area . Definitely well irrigated !! Amazing how all these palms and stuff do grow in florida but look how much healthier they look.

Yes Gary the Malecon is watered daily and I'm sure the palms are watered quite often.The other palm pics are just from driving around and they don't get near as much water as we do here but I think the soil is better.I have been there in there rainy season and it never did rain like it does in Fl with the heavy downpours

Beautiful pictures!! That Licuala Grandis is spectacular. One of my favs for sure. Your wife is brave feeding that shark :)
