This is my second time trying with a jade, since the first time I was not so sucessful, I decided to give it another try and I'm happy I did. So sorry to hear about your furnace woes though - that is the worst!! It happened to me TWICE last Winter, during the coldest part of the season. I didn't lose any Hoyas, but most of my miniature violets and several episcias bit the dust, even with my frantically purchased space heaters. I wouldn't like to relive the experience now that I've acquired more temperate species. If you think they have sustained injuries, you might want to baby them a bit until they've had a chance to get their feet under them again. This would involve pruning away any dead parts, putting them under a grow light, and maybe even the application of a weak balanced fertilizer to help them. It's still early in the year, though, and none of the Hoyas you mentioned are too fussy, so I'd guess you're probably alright just staying the course.

VICTORY!!!!! We had another 2 week delay because of some fence permit issues. We got the green tag from the inspector yesterday and they had the plaster guys out the same day. For some reason this old posting showed up on my ipod this morning. I was surprised that this is almost exactly what my older trees have. Too bad this is an old thread because I would have liked to ask the OP if the spots washed off.
