Signs of Life in Sago

bishops

I have three 19 year old Sagos that I transplanted last year. They all 3 looked very good after the move. This week I cut off all the browning fronds and I wondering, What are the signs that the Sago is still healthy?

The area where the new fronds come out looks alive, but I don't know. The stump is hard and seems OK, I'm just worried they are dying after the shock of the move. They were green for 6 months after the transplanting.

What should I do or what can I do to them to help them flush?

Thanks
