Need help ID'ing and caring for new palm

Hello everyone, I'm new to large plants, and need some help. I recently purchased this large fern at IKEA, and it did not have any ID tag with it. I figured it'd be an inexpensive way to try to learn some things since I seem to have a propensity to kill plants. :)

From what I've seen it looks a bit like a Spindle Palm.

I've had it 3 weeks now, and I seem to be losing it already, can anyone steer me in the right direction? It gets water often, maybe every other day, about 12oz per sitting. I have mixed in to my water (which I now know I should filter after reading around- it is municipal water) some liquid miracle grow 8-7-6 which I use in my other plants (pictures after the last of the palm) who aren't doing so hot either.

It (all of them, actually) gets indirect sunlight in the afternoons as the sun hits my west window, and sits in a room at about 70*F. I do not know about the humidity, but it's probably on the dry side, since it is winter in Michigan, and my apartment furnace does not have a humidifier.

he tand m thr plts were pootted, the pots were layered with some rocks for drainage, then potting/miracle grow soil. Beyond that, as I said- I'm novice :)

The entire plant was very green when I got it home, here are some pictures of it now.

My other plants (all 3 are separated from one large ball from this plant)
